Assembler

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge. This position is based in a warehouse setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow established job order specifications as applicable

• Complete assigned manufacturing tasks using specified machinery and equipment

in allotted time

• Push product through designated machine

• Catch and stack product onto pallet

• Glue product as indicated by order requirements

• Bundle and tie according to the specifications

• Move product using pallet jack

• Must be able to use a tape measure

• Read and interpret drawings and record measurements

• Ensure orders are prepared to the correct length, width, thickness, bundle amounts

and skid amounts

• Must be able to organize and neatly stack product onto pallet

• Remove product that does not meet quality standard

• Maintain work area clean of scrap or material

• Follow and understand job safety analysis and safety work procedures

• Use machinery and equipment as intended

• Report safety and quality issues, along with any maintenance needs to supervisor

• Perform housekeeping tasks (sweep, empty trash, process scrap, etc.) as required

Requirements:

-Prior experence and able to work in a fast-paced work setting.

-Must be able to work in a paper dust environment

-Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis

-Ability to work flexible hours including overtime

- Ability to read blueprints & use a measuring tape

-Must comply with pre-employment background and drug screen

-Must have reliable transportation, there is no access to public transportation

- Must be able to wear required ppe: Safety shoes, safety glasses, ear protections. Education • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
