What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Crowne Plaza Hickory?
REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER, MANAGER ON DUTY, ASST. MANAGER
RESPONSIBLILITIES INCLUDE:
- Arriving to work on time as scheduled, in proper uniform including name tag.
- Providing a clean, sanitary and inviting hotel room for the guest.
- Cleaning guest bathrooms and bedrooms.
- Making beds with clean linen and placing clean linen in bathrooms.
- Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets.
- Cleaning clamps and light bulbs and checking for correct wattage of light bulbs.
- Replacing and adding required supplies in guestrooms.
- Turning in lost and found articles immediately, following the correct procedures.
- Emptying and cleaning vacuums and brooms.
- Stocking carts with all necessary linen, room and cleaning supplies.
- Keeping stacked carts clean, neat and orderly.
- Reporting room status throughout the day.
- Completing assignment sheets.
- Reporting maintenance deficiencies.
- Performing other job duties as directed by the Executive housekeeper.
- Complying with hotel policies and procedures, in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
