What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial System Analyst II position at Crozer Health?
Responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and integrity of the Practice Management System, and any other software applications utilized by the CKHN Revenue Cycle. Responsible for maintaining all data bases utilized by CKHN and the development and creation of all reports from those databases that are utilized by CKHN. Provides analysis of all information provided from reports created in Decision Support. Ensures that the Practice Management System is working efficiently and effectively to maximize reimbursement for services rendered by CKHN providers. Works with the Revenue Cycle Management Team and the CKHN Operational Management Team to assure all services rendered are captured and billed, and that reimbursement is at the maximum allowed for the services rendered. Provides reports and analysis as needed by CKHN.

Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the Practice Management System and all software utilized by CKHN in the Revenue Cycle process. |

Responsible for assuring that all tables, master files, fee schedules, and any other infrastructure components of the Practice Management System are current, accurate, and complete. |

Works with other Revenue Cycle staff to maximize the capabilities of the Practice Management System as well as all other associated systems (Claim Scrubbers, eligibility, etc.) |
|
Works with the CKHS IT department on all software issues that affect the CKHN Revenue Cycle. |
|
Work collaboratively with all parts of CKHN to develop reports that properly reflect the performance of CKHN, and provides analysis of the information provided from those reports. |

Works with all other parts of CKHS to assure that all of the CKHN revenue cycle systems are complete and accurate. |
|
Maintains a working knowledge of database management issues related to all data either within CKHN or in the CKHS data warehouse. |
|
Develop and create reports as necessary from any data source that is available to CKHN. |
|
Provide analysis of all information included on any reports provided by CKHN Decision Support. |
|
Work with CKHS data analysts to develop and create reports that combine CKHS data with CKHN data. |
|
Provide reports and analysis for CKHN Senior Management as requested. |
|
Provide reports and analysis for Director of the CKHN Revenue Cycle as requested. |
|
Work with Revenue Cycle Management Team and the CKHN Operational Management Team to assure that all services rendered by CKHN providers are captured, documented, coded, billed and collected, and that reimbursement is at the maximum allowable based on those services rendered.
Education and Training: Bachelors or Advance Degree preferred
Experience: At least 2-4 years’ experience in information systems and data analysis in healthcare preferred Data base management and report development skills Experience with physician practice management systems a plus Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills |
