The Reservation Coordinator is responsible for handling reservations, inquiries and cancellations in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner, and quoting available rates to maximize revenue according to resort standards. The Reservation Coordinator is also responsible for group blocks and reservations.
JOB DUTIES
Answer incoming guest calls to book reservations or assist with existing reservations
Follow procedures to make, cancel or change reservations
Working with Rally groups and making group reservations
Building group blocks
Monitoring resort inventory, maximizing site placement for arrivals
Monitoring daily arrivals and special requests
Maximize vacation rental revenue via online booking sites
Maintain guest database and profiles
Maintain accurate filing system and group tracing
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Assist guests with pre-arrival concierge services and stay upgrades
Maintain excellent understanding of amenities and activities at the resort
Assist with resort communications, marketing materials and reservation packages as instructed by manager
Coordinate with other departments to provide an exceptional guest experience
Perform various administrative tasks, including answering multi-line phones, typing, computer and data entry
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
Loading rates into Property Management System
Online reputation management
Respond to online reviews
Monitor comp set pricing, area events, high demand periods and adjust resort pricing as necessary
Assist in building property management systems for future CRR properties
