Job Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (2:00 PM-12:30 AM)
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $24.05-$31.61/hr. Starting Wages $2,400 Shift Differential (Paid Bi-Weekly) *A final offer amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Job Summary: The primary duty of the Trailer Technician is to uphold the upkeep of Class 8 trailers, guaranteeing their efficiency, dependability, and overall safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute necessary maintenance procedures on fleet trailers.
- Carry out preventative maintenance services on trailers in compliance with DOT 49 CFR 396.
- Document repair orders in writing, encompassing labor hours, utilized parts, and general remarks.
- Fulfill written forms for preventative maintenance inspections.
- Conduct lot inspections to validate equipment condition, identify potential out-of-service (OOS) items, and confirm load status.
- Maintain a maintenance reference manual containing job codes, standard operating procedures (SOP), and service bulletins issued by CRST.
- Utilize basic workshop tools, such as welders, torches, impact wrenches, band saws, scaffolding, ladders, and other assigned equipment.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum tool requirement is required.
- Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Class 8 trailer mechanic is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
