What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Operations Coordinator position at Cruise?
Cruise is looking for an AV Operations Coordinator to help us support day-to-day operations of on-the-road deployment of our autonomous vehicles. In this position, you will partner with the Operations Managers on PHX Market team to ensure Cruise internal customers’ needs are met while maintaining safe and efficient deployment of the fleet.

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure the success of the shift by meeting service-level agreements while maintaining high levels of team morale, enthusiasm, and engagement
- Communicate assignments, break location and time, and other ad hoc projects with AVTs
- Manage deployment of our AV fleet, ensuring a safe and efficient operation while maintaining charge levels
- Lead AV troubleshooting and immediate issue reporting to Operations Managers and Vehicles team
- Troubleshoot issues in the field that have been escalated by Team Leads
- Prepare daily reports and log JIRA tickets
- Immediately respond to incidents in the field
- Assist with special projects across teams to deliver on interdependent KPIs
- DAS review and escalation
- Assigned to high level, complex projects and pilot programs. Collaborates with other stakeholders
- Mentoring Coordinators and Leads (need to formalize a framework but this occurs informally)
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field
- 4 years of professional work experience in product operations, team management, rideshare, delivery, or a related sector
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Suite
- Effective decision making and risk management understanding
- Experience in project management
