Welcome to Crunch Fitness. Our legacy began in a modest New York City basement in 1989 as a welcoming place for a diverse group of people to get fit. Today, we’re rapidly expanding 50 locations across Texas, and we’re hiring everyone from cleaning attendants onward to join the journey and grow into future Managing Partners.

What we need:
We are looking for a Managing Partner (Gym General Manager) who has the desire to make a difference in the lives of others and wants to be a business partner with a hyper-growth company. You have a passion for selecting, training, and developing your team and are driven by the opportunity to invest in your future to create wealth for your family and community. You must want to lead a business that is the best place to work and workout!

What you’ll be doing:

Team Management
  • Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members
  • Direct management of team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to managers
  • Oversee and maintain training standards
  • Consistent development and coaching of team members and manager, including training in employment policies and practices
  • Conduct staff meetings and set staff goals

Financial Growth Management
  • Successful and profitable management of gym operations
  • Grow the business to profitability and energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly objectives

Administration Management
  • Manage payroll and scheduling, ensuring labor control and adequate staffing
  • Plan, prepare, and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly KPIs and budgets
  • Management of monthly P&L
  • Attend weekly and quarterly regional meetings
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
  • Ensure and monitor compliance and accuracy with all policies, procedures, and standards

Facility Management
  • Oversee gym cleanliness. Understanding, managing, and practicing sanitation and cleanliness procedures
  • Act as primary liaison with all gym vendors and HQ contacts

Member Service Management
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure member resolutions are effectively resolved timely and with a kind spirit
  • Ensure member retention is a key focus of the staff. Do Whatever It Takes and find a way to deliver the “Wow Experience”.

Your skills, education, experience:
  • Responsible for leading a minimum of 40 employees
  • Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays.
  • CPR/AED certified or can complete within 30 days from hire
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above
  • Willingness to make a minimum 3-year commitment to their home gym
  • Must have the ability to put forth a personal financial investment
  • Hands-on experience in all facets of service and recruitment
  • Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Must be willing to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • Bilingual, a plus

  • Total compensation ranges from $80,000 - $140,000
