What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Crush Bistro?
Summary/Objective
The busser’s primary responsibility is to ensure guest delight by providing an exceptional experience. The basic duties are to bus and reset tables, take bus tubs and glass racks to the dish room, pre-bus tables, and re-stock glasses. The busser is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant throughout their shift.
Operations
Comes to work on time and ready to work. Uniform should be neat, clean and complete
Knows all table numbers and server sections
Works with other staff to ensure the dining room is clean and organized at all times. Is constantly pre-bussing, picking up trash from the floor, straightening tables and chairs, etc. as needed. Completes all opening & closing sidework
Bus and reset tables to the standards of the restaurant
Keeps ice in the server/bar stations well stocked
In dish area, puts glasses, utensils and ramekins in appropriate location, scrapes all remaining food off dishes and stacks them in an organized manner
Is occasionally expected to mop up spills, and clean up any messes that may happen in the course of business

This may be a full time or part time position. Employees may be asked to work, standing and walking, in a fast paced environment for up to 8 hours in a shift.
