Job Summary
The Intern role will work with each department to learn the high level, day to day functions of working and preparing for events at the Bojangles Entertainment Complex. The CRVA will provide entry level job related training, guidance and supervision to Intern so that they may safely carry out assignments delegated by CRVA management. The CRVA management shall ensure that rules, regulations and expectations are clearly communicated to Intern.
- Essential Job Duties
- Assist with calendar updates and sharing information to relevant individuals.
- Work with booking manager on P&L analysis of shows for FY23.
- Participate in show advancements with the tech and events teams.
- Assist with event note generation and working events.
- Job shadowing each department to learn high level day to day responsibilities.
- Opportunity to job shadow event managers at the Charlotte Convention Center and/or NASCAR Hall of Fame, based on availability of events.
- Work with Facility Operations department to meet agendas including event set-ups, event breakdowns and changeovers to ensure that event requirements are met, and the facility is ready for use.
- Carry out instructions/work orders assigned by the CRVA Management in regards to daily work assignments and projects.
- Communicate via two-way radio.
- Maintain professional attire, image and demeanor at all times.
- Attend all weekly meetings as required by supervisor.
- Properly and safely comply with all CRVA and BOplex policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Consistently deliver the best customer service. Model and be accountable ensuring the customers are always put first by living the CRVA Service Philosophy to deliver a memorable customer experience.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, the intern will have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills are required.
- Must possess strong multi-tasking abilities and strong organizational skills.
Education and Experience
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school.
Physical Demands
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
