Job Posting for Housekeeper at Crystal Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care
The primary purpose of this position is to assure that Crystal Creek Assisted Living be maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner, providing a comfortable home environment for its residents.
The Housekeeper must be able to perform repetitive movement while completing the assigned tasks and have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. The position requires repetitive standing, reaching, bending, stooping, walking and stressful situations. This includes vacuuming, dusting areas including ceiling and light fixtures, scrubbing areas listed, cleaning floors, bathrooms and windows.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform standard Housekeeping & Laundry functions as assigned
To maintain cleanliness in common areas, cleaning daily or as scheduled
To perform duties assigned and/or additional tasks observed in order to keep the premises clean
To observe and report repair needs to the office
To work cooperatively as a part of the care giving team
To maintain good communication with other team members, other shifts
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have excellent time management skills
Must be reliable
Ability to anticipate needs and exhibit flexibility
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 pounds from floor level to chest, stoop, bend, turn and stretch
Must also be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time and assist residents as needed
