Responsibilities
- Control aged product and rotation
- Alert Managment and transportation coordinator of any discrepancies with shipments.
- Work closely with the leads concerning issues with the inventory, receipts, or shipments.
- Process pick lists and BOLs for shipping. Maintain dock appointment schedule.
- Process intercompany stock transfer shipments and discrepancies.
- Preparation of documents, reconcilliation of inventory, investigation of OS&D's.
- Work with customer service, supervisor, and manager concerning inventory shortages for customers.
- Observe product needs and ensure inbound receipts are completed in order as needed.
- Transportation/logistics planning on an as needed basis using cloud service E2Open.
- Load preperation for warehouse picking.
- Maintain relationship with QA, Customer Service, and Transportation depts, processing return orders.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills for working with other departments, coworkers and answering incoming calls.
- Promote teamwork by communicating in a positive and pleasant manner.
- General office duties to include answering phones, scanning, copying, and filing documents.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year experience in warehousing and computer skill. Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to use standard office technology such as a computer, copier/scanner and phone system.
- Ability to analyze situations and make the best decision which benefits the company without jeopardizing the health and well being of the employee.
- Accurate data entry skill.
