Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Web Designer and Marketing Consultant to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and developing websites, implementing marketing strategies, and driving sales initiatives for our diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in WordPress development, graphic design, and a comprehensive understanding of marketing and sales strategies. Knowledge and experience with Squarespace, Square, CommentSold, LightSpeed, and/or ShowIt are a nice bonus. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress and other relevant platforms.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into effective website designs.
• Demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering understanding and empowerment among our clients by approaching each project with the heart of a teacher. Guide clients through the process of understanding and utilizing the systems and solutions we create, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to effectively manage and maintain their online presence. Uphold our commitment to education and client empowerment as a foundational pillar of our business philosophy.
• Create compelling graphics, logos, and other visual elements to enhance website aesthetics and user experience.
• Implement SEO best practices to optimize website performance and visibility on search engines.
• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote client websites and drive traffic and engagement.
• Utilize various marketing channels such as social media, email campaigns, and content marketing to reach target audiences.
• Analyze website analytics and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to convert leads into customers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design, graphic design, marketing, and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

• Education in Web Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in web design and development, with proficiency in WordPress and other CMS platforms.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with experience in implementing digital marketing campaigns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
