Administrative Specialist I.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Administrative Specialist I will support a CRO team of several individuals in their day to day activities and operations, and report directly to HR/Admin. Manager. The candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of responsibilities from office operations to executive-level administrative support tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Candidate must be exceedingly well organized, have great attention to detail, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. The candidate will serve as the point person for banking, expenses, procurement, IT logistics, shipping, receiving, equipment and office maintenance, and other daily office and lab organizational responsibilities. The candidate will be able to handle extremely confidential and proprietary information with the utmost discretion.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist and report directly to the HR/Admin. Manager in the day to day administrative duties for lab and office.
- Must be able to learn and master quickly the company’s internal purchasing system under the supervisor’s guidance.
- Assist RD team with lab supplies purchasing, equipment maintenance, and sample shipment and receiving
- Serve as a contact point to meet office operational needs, including but not limited to IT logistics, office maintenance, office supplies purchasing.
- Perform all other administrative duties as assigned by executive management.
- Coordinate the administration activities involved in the interview and employee recruitment workflow.
- Provide support in preparing project assignments and project management.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a team player who possesses a good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty.
- Must be detailed oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Open-minded; have a strong willingness to learn new skills and the ability to quickly adapting to the company’s culture
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin preferred.
- At least one year of experience as an administrative assistant.
- Proficient with Windows Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift & carry items up to 25 lbs.
- Able to work a full-time schedule (40-hour workweek/ 8:30-5:00 pm) unless otherwise specified by the supervisor.
- Able to sit at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of time.
