Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
Pack orders properly for shipment
Pick orders accurately and timely for website fulfillment
Unload trucks, sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location
Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
Stack and organize large, heavy bulk items
Ensure work space is free of debris and remove safety hazards
Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
Work as an active team member to complete team goals
Attend all work shifts as scheduled and work with a sense of urgency at all times

Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent
Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
Physically able to lift up to 100 pounds or more
Able to work evening, weekends, and holidays
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently
Able to learn general product knowledge about various crystals, rocks, and minerals
Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and regulatory bodies.

This is an entry-level role which could lead to greater opportunities within the organization such as retail associate, sales associate, customer service, marketing, social media live sales host, and management, based on your performance and demonstrated competencies. *Pay increases are based on performance and the following competencies: Job Knowledge, Accountability, Job Performance, Teamwork, Initiative, Attendance/Punctuality, Flexibility.

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time (non-exempt, hourly)

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Hours: 25-40 per week, variable weekly schedules, must be able to work daytime, evening, and weekends

Experience: Warehouse or Retail - 2 years (Preferred)

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Location: Downtown Pittsburgh, PA (Required)
