The CS2 Recruiter(s) are responsible for all aspects of recruiting for the company and plays a critical role in ensuring the acquisition of the best possible talent.

Recruiter Skills & Competencies

The CS2 Recruiter must demonstrate the following competencies:

Organizational skills: Demonstrate exceptional time- and self- management, initiative, and focus to meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent functions and tasks. Requires ability to actively track candidates and their status in the recruiting process while prioritizing actions to optimize placement opportunities.

Communication skills: Regularly communicates with management (both internal and external) to establish rapport, understand requirements, and facilitate the recruiting process as well as communicating regularly with applicants/candidates in a timely fashion through various mediums.

Technical Writing skills: Demonstrate the ability to write, edit, and format resumes following the specifications dictated by the various contracts in order to present candidates in an accurate manner while highlighting their knowledge, skills, and experience to maximize the potential for interviews and acceptance on contract.

Interpersonal skills: Successfully work with various departments and customers to fill open positions and foster teamwork in addition to effectively working with potential applicants/candidates.

Discretion: Safeguard private and confidential information of CS2, candidates, and contracts.

Decision-making skills: Utilize analytical skills to review applications for employment and resumes in order to decide whether or not they meet the qualifications to be considered for positions.

Recruiter Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute recruiting plans and process;
  • Execute candidate screening process and match applicants to openings;
  • Utilize Job boards such as ClearedJobs.com to identify new talent;
  • Establish and maintain solid working relationships with contract hiring authorities and key personnel;
  • Interview and screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements;
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates;
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting;
  • Effectively communicate CS2 mission statement and culture and specific job descriptions to applicants/candidates. This includes understanding certification requirements such as 8570, CISSP, and CCNA as well as technical information and requirements as outlined in vacancy announcements;
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure CS2 benefits are communicated accurately, as well as all policies, processes, and legal requirements are followed during staffing/recruitment process.
  • Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) BREEZY for all phases of the recruiting process to include the review and analysis of resumes, tracking all communications (and attempts at communication) with the candidate and contract, and recording feedback from interviews,
  • Work with Staffing Team to collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire;
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with Staffing Team to determine the effectiveness of the recruiting plans and processes, discuss the qualified candidate pool, and provide hiring metrics;
  • Collaborate with HR to foster long-term relationships with candidates/employees.

Work Schedule

The CS2 Recruiter(s) work full time (40 hours per week) during core business hours while maintaining flexibility of schedule to meet the needs of candidates. Travel for staffing meetings, networking events, and career fairs which can take place outside of usual business hours, may be required. Additionally, the recruiter must be aware that significant communication with candidates can occur outside normal business hours and they will be responsible for effective prompt communications with those candidates. Remote and flexible work schedules available.
