What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - SRE Support Services position at CSAA Insurance Group?

Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage operational aspect of non-production environments including building, maintaining ,and validating compliance with procedures and checklists
- Proactively monitor the environment stability related to disk space usage, monitoring solutions, deployment, performance monitoring, scheduling, and more
- Work within IT, cross-functionally and with vendors, in order to successfully identify, prioritize, and resolve issues
- Provide subject matter expertise for enhancements, developments, and operational improvements to the DevOps solutions
- Maintain issue tracking and documentation systems and provides reporting that ensures proper tracking and visibility of issues
- Identify technical and process improvement opportunities and socialize/advocate to get them implemented
- Possess expert technical understanding of DevOps, monitoring and management tools, and deployment processes and tools
- Give direction and set priorities for all Site Reliability Engineers, and DevOps Engineers
- Hire/fire, coach, and conduct and annual performance evaluations of the team
- Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the DevOps initiatives & KTLO
What would make us excited about you?
- Possess expert technical understanding of DevOps, monitoring and management tools, and deployment processes and tools
- 10+ years’ experience administering Linux and/or DevOps, site reliability engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of Hands-on experience in Linux, Unix, windows system administration
- Experience with end-to-end Jenkins pipeline automation for built, test, and deploy
- 5+ years’ demonstrated hands-on experience managing a high performance team of engineers and administrators
- Ability to implement automation and monitoring using shell scripting and other related tools
- Demonstrated best practices knowledge of managing teams and conflict management
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have critical thinking skills in a complex IT environment to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems without direction
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Experience successfully leading DevOps or Site Reliability teams in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of tools and automation frameworks
- Experience in automation, virtualization, orchestration, continuous integration, deployment, and implementation
- Experience installing and configuring on infrastructure, scripting for process automation, setting up and managing cloud and container orchestration and experience managing support systems

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be, performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $138,000 - $160,700 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay.
