We are seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security and Access capability. You will be responsible for operational engineering and development within SailPoint's IdentiyNow platform.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate proactively with a global team, including cybersecurity leaders, developers, quality assurance, project management, and product management teams to deliver quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Share your successes in standup meetings to keep the team informed and on track.
- Conduct quality development to create new features strengthening cybersecurity and resolve issues to improve customer satisfaction.
- Unit testing
- Create test steps for QA testing
- Update process documentation, change control documentation, or other ITSM documentation
- Peer review colleagues’ work, suggest improvements, and grow stronger together.
- Coach and mentor junior team members
What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?
- 3 years of SailPoint IdentityNow experience
- Knowledge of SailPoint workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot technical defects within SailPoint
- Knowledge of backend infrastructure, e.g. virtual appliances
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint connectors, specifically Webservice, JDBC, and Service Desk Integration
- Understanding of identity life cycle and flow of identity data to/from SailPoint
- Foundational understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID
- Knowledge of agile processes
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of ServiceNow preferred
- Experience with global compliance frameworks impacting identity/security
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated quick-thinker and quick-learner able to consistently deliver on time, be proactive, and be passionate about cybersecurity’s hottest new perimeter – identity!
- Collaborative mindset to develop great identity security products with a great team
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Security Engineering. or equivalent field experience
