Surveillance Investigator

Summary

The Surveillance Investigator position requires a skilled individual with a strong foundation in report writing, data collection, surveillance, and research. A valid driver's license is a key requirement for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveillance activities, collecting and analyzing data, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies when necessary. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of the organization by identifying and mitigating potential risks and threats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance, using best judgment while making important decisions on choosing appropriate surveillance methods, anticipating a person’s next moves, and making conclusions from available evidence.
• Obtain videotaped documentation of subjects.
• Draft thorough and detailed investigative reports.
• Upload video, photographic, and audio evidence into case management system.
• Due to driving, constant state of alertness in a safe manner is an essential function of this position.
• Investigators will use many methods to gather facts in a myriad of matters for both private and public sector clients. In order to accomplish this, investigators will utilize various types of investigative techniques. Information gathered may be used to assist attorneys, investigators, businesses, or the public with legal, financial, and personal problems.

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel within a multi-state coverage area. (as necessary)
• Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days including weekends.
• Valid state issued driver's license issued by state of residency.
• Ability to follow and execute instructions and assignments.
