Job Description
Staff Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Paducah, KY). Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership for the Software Engineering team and cross functional teams. Set and enforce department software development standards and best practices. Research and select new technologies. Participate in software engineering across multiple technologies and product lines of the company. Unify technical strategy with product strategy and help the Software Engineering team increase its productivity. Deliver changes to support product systems and any applications that CSI’s system supports and coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholders. Participate in large-scale, solution-wide initiatives that meet organizational and customer expectations. Technical environment: .NET; C#; SQL; DB2; cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); VMWare; Mainframe; LINUX based systems; APIs; function modules; Defining and creating testing frameworks and tools; ensuring testing pipelines.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in software development / analysis required. Required Skills: .NET; C#; SQL; DB2; cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); VMWare; Mainframe; LINUX-based systems; APIs; function modules; Defining and creating testing frameworks and tools; ensuring testing pipelines. Telecommuting permitted.
