Creative Dining Services is looking for a Prep Cook at Warner University in Lake Wales, FL. As the Prep Cook, works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a safe manner. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare food in a timely manner.
- Utilizes safe food handling, hot/cold holding and storage techniques at all times, including labeling and dating items.
- Maintains a clean and sanitized work area.
- Supports other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
- Removes refuse as needed.
- Puts away/Pulls stock as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year food service experience preferred
ServSafe Certification
