Employment Type: Part time Shift: Night Shift Description: Come join the Environmental Services team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! Position Purpose: The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments, and other assigned areas. What you will do: Performing required cleaning and housekeeper functions in assigned area. Executing proper cleaning procedures and demonstrating efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment. Performing other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or (GED) preferred; or one to three months’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
