JOB OPPORTUNITY:

INDUSTRY: Commercial Banking

POSITION: Banking Operation Associate

LOCATION: Manhattan, NY.

1) Loan Processintg

• Set up and update loan account details;
• Process loan drawdown and rollovers;
• Process loan disbursement (outgoing remittance);
• Process loan interest/principal payment;
• Maintain loan related departmental records;
• Maintain updated AIR Factoring system records.

2) Treasury Service Processor

• Maker’ functions relating to back-office processing of treasury transactions
• Authorize money market placement and borrowing payment transactions
• Authorize 'Yankee' CD transactions in MMI system
• Authorize FX payment transactions in MUREX system
• Authorize security investment transactions (U.S. T/Bills, Notes & Bonds) payment transactions in MUREX system
• Perform "OFAC" check on counter-parties.

3) Customer Service

• Issue/Renew certificate of deposit (Fixed deposit);
• Follow up with fixed deposit documents;
• Update changes in interest rates;
• Receive and process customer check deposits;
• Issue cashier check;

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree preferred
• Experiences: Loan operation experience in financial services preferred
• Language skills: Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English preferred
• Software skills: Proficiency in PC skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Word processing

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Standard office environment. Noise level in work environment is usually average. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional off site client meetings and site visits.
