Chiropractic Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients by greeting them pleasantly, in person or on the telephone.
  • Keep the reception area and adjustment area clean, with a professional presentation.
  • Attend to needs of patients and assist team members.
  • Guide visitors in the office and control flow of patients in the office.
  • Answer and appropriately route incoming phone calls and take detailed messages.
  • Assist with maintaining general office cleanliness based on our COVID protocols as needed.
  • Assist the Chiropractors in the treatment of patients; helping with kids/ babies or assisting elderly patients getting onto the adjustment tables.
  • Contributes to office effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; providing information and commentary, through chiropractic literature.
  • Data entry of patient health information.
  • Perform scanning of documents.
  • Support additional duties and responsibilities as requested.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality, following all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Help the patient understand their insurance benefits, and work out any payment arrangements.
  • Discuss treatment options and payment options with patients
  • Handle the office schedule; setting patient appointments & changing patient appointments.
  • Making missed appointment phone calls.
  • Other duties may include internal and external marketing (asking patients for referrals & google reviews).

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); Google Suites is required.

  • This position does require standing and moving around the office
  • Volunteer and service-based experience will be strongly considered.
  • College coursework will be strongly considered.

Training: 

  • You will be working with our Training Coordinator and other staff
  • We utilize videos, role playing, and documented systems and procedures to train
  • You will receive documents that will need to be learned in order to speak about chiropractic (this includes scripts for phones, consultations/exams, and frequently asked questions).
  • We have ongoing support that includes weekly team trainings

 

Schedule:

Our office is open Monday -Thursday; Our team works from 9a-7p with a 1hr lunch break.
