Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Manager with experience in manufacturing to oversee our laboratory operations and ensure efficient functioning. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various laboratory procedures, management systems, and regulatory compliance.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including overseeing staff, equipment, and resources
- Develop and implement laboratory procedures to maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Coordinate research laboratory activities and projects
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management
- Supervise histology and microbiology processes
- Implement project management techniques for efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in laboratory management
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with GLP, FDA regulations, and quality control standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
