Position Title:Systems Engineer
Position Location:Full Time onsite in Aurora, CO
Daily Responsibilities:
- Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing infrastructure platforms in accordance to the organizations business requirements.
- Document engineering process relating to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure platforms.
- Coordinate changes such as implementation of new infrastructure platforms, upgrades or version increments to existing platforms with system administrators and stakeholders.
- Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures. Performs infrastructure platform modeling, analysis, and planning.
- Coordinates architecture and evaluates new and emerging infrastructure platform technologies and make recommendations.
- Assists system administrators with complex troubleshooting issues
- May provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed infrastructure platforms in lab or production environments.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Ability to work with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects.
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Ability to work with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects.
- Level III performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level II, and may supervise others.
- Centralizes mobile device management and maintenance, combining security and management solutions for devices, applications, data, and content by: (a) tracking/managing wireless devices (b) Improves security, integration, and mobile application adoption (c) Manages mobile devices and platforms (d) Increases access to data, applications, and services.
Required Years of Experience (min):
- 6 years of experience.
Required Degree:
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalency.
- IAT II: IAW Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR.
Required Experience:
- Preferred Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Preferred Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, optimizing performance and efficiency.
- Preferred Develop and document technical standards, processes, and procedures, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Preferred Conduct in-depth system analysis and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement and future technology investments.
