What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at CTCLUSI?
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing alcoholic beverage and food service to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Set up station and makes sure area is ready and stocked for the day’s operation.
§ Provide excellent guest service, and understands all functions involved in day to day activities, highlighting and focusing on the 7 steps of service and SPIRIT.
§ Perform necessary tasks to service guests, i.e. greeting and seating guest, taking and filling all beverage and food orders, monitoring guest needs on a continual basis ensuring quality and accuracy. Pre bus and bus all tables.
§ Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, storage areas, dining room and service stations.
§ Maintain appearance standards as outlined in departmental and TRC policies.
§ Know departmental and Casino policies and procedures and complies with all position requirements.
§ Inform Front of House (FOH) or (Back of House (BOH) lead and Manager on Duty (MOD) of any service or equipment problems.
§ Know facility disaster and evacuation plan and follow accordingly.
§ Full knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, review daily changes to menu and/or specials.
§ Work with accuracy with a blind cash drawer and implement upon request.
§ Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with all departments, including needed property or service concerns.
§ Integrate the Three Rivers brand purpose into all processes, communications and guest/team member experiences.
§ Maintain awareness of, and effectively communicate to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs. Keep fellow team members/guests informed regarding the direction of the organization.
§ Ensure that all fellow team members will adhere to and deliver Superior Guest services striving to exceed our internal and external guest expectations.
§ Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
§ Ensure living the brand/purpose in all work activities: "Every day, we deliver uncommonly kind experiences that connect people to the coast."
§ Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
§ Other duties as directed by management.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY & RESTRICTIONS
§ Access to Key Watch (liquor room keys).
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
§ Must work well under pressure.
§ Must be able to stand for longer than 10 hours.
§ Must be able to lift up excess of 40 pounds on an intermittent basis.
§ Must be able to change 1/2 kegs of beer by moving and lifting the kegs.
§ Must be able to bend, stoop lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
§ Must be able to speak, hear and see.
§ Perform basic written communication.
WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT
§ Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
§ Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
Guest service is the foundation of our success at TRCR, and good relations between Team Members and guests is essential. In addition, we operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Therefore, the following criteria apply to all TRCR Team Members, regardless of the position they occupy:

Required Experience:
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a High school diploma or GED.
- Bartending experience and Bartender school diploma preferred
- Must possess current OLCC Servers Permit.
- Must possess current Food Handlers card.
- Excellent oral communications skills.
- Excellent hygiene habits.
- Display clear leadership abilities.
- Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
- This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must receive and maintain a valid non-gaming license from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.
