What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at CTDI?

Duties:
- Route orders daily in compliance with the transportation route guide; ensuring timely execution to meet the requested arrival date and secure carrier capacity ahead of the competition
- Operate the Transportation Management System (TMS) to route orders, track carrier performance and troubleshoot any loads that may be at risk of missing Requested Arrival Date
- Ensure all new orders comply with AT&T guidelines on weight and method of shipment
- Coordinate Customer Pick-Up (CPU) scheduling with customer carriers
- Escalate any trending customer-driven delivery issues to customer
- Manage load consolidation sailing schedule
- Execute urgent/expedite orders flawlessly while minimizing financial impact
- Coordinate all functions related to on-time Less than truckload (LTL) shipment
- Collaborate with Inventory and Operations teams on returns and BOL needs
- Schedule appointments in WMS on all loads; working with the DC manager and/or third party facility manager on dock capacity scheduling
- Work with drop carriers to maintain trailer pool
- Work with Customer Supply Chain (CSC) on delivery scheduling issues
- Work with the appropriate parties on loads not scheduled by end of period.
- Review previous day's dock schedule to ensure all orders shipped, if not, reschedule
- Advise shipping office of any special shipping requirements
- Communicate daily yard check to appropriate carriers
- Cross train to support other distribution center functions
- All other duties as assigned
Salary : $36,900 - $46,800
