Quality Assurance Analyst

Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC) www.ctec-corp.com is a CMMI Level III company that has provided technology and management solutions to commercial and government clients across the USA for 20 years. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance/Analyst to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assists with the creation and execution of procedures to ensure that delivered products and services meet organization quality standards and end-user requirements.

· Activities may include the design and execution of product tests to ensure proper function and freedom from defects.

· Works with Technical Writers and other technical staff to document developed quality assurance procedures, test results, and recommendations for fault correction.

· Formats and reports result from on-going quality assurance tasks including time/resource projections for the completion of tasks referenced to project schedules and cost estimates.

· Works closely with technical and management personnel to implement minimum-intrusion collection methods for quality-related data.

· Cooperates with other Information Technology personnel and system owners/users to analyze complex workflows and develop recommendations for quality-related improvements.

· Translates system requirements into quality criteria, quality metrics, and quality data collection procedures. As required, provides input for acceptance decisions for system implementations. Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; schedule and execute test cycles; contribute to testability & quality of software developed by IT developers.

· Generate test data sets and configure test environments.

· Report defects accurately; facilitate issue tracking and successful resolution; assess and communicate the risk of various types and help IT developers and stakeholders make collaborative decisions about risk tolerance for implementation.

· Participate in planning/review/retrospective activities and help to make adjustments to processes, environments, tools, etc., in order to make project teams more effective and capable of producing higher quality deliverables tightly aligned with business needs.

· Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.

· Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees the creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

Work Experience:

· Four years of work experience as an Information Technology Quality Assurance Analyst.

· This experience must demonstrate or must include two to three years of experience with automated testing tools and knowledge of QA principals and Information Technology disciplines sufficient to successfully discharge the functional responsibilities listed above.

· The work experience must also show the ability to work successfully as part of a Quality Assurance team.

Education:

· Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Clearance Requirements:

· Must have the clearable background and ability to obtain OPM Public Trust Clearance
