CTF Illinois, a not-for-profit agency serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, is seeking a talented, self-motivated educator to serve as our Staff Development Director.
The Staff Development Director is an integral member of the leadership team and is responsible for creating an engaging, cohesive training development program to meet regulatory guidelines and CTF Illinois values. The person CTF Illinois hires will enhance staff performance and improve the quality of life for the people we serve. With two full-time instructors, the Staff Development Director evaluates and monitors current tracking systems to ensure compliance and to maximize billing opportunities for training..
This is a great opportunity to really enhance training for a large, not-for-profit agency in a vital field. We expect the potential candidate to create engaging, interactive training materials in a variety of formats and to actively use feedback to improve training and services. Our biggest asset is our staff and the work of the Staff Development Director is vital in their development. The Staff Development Director at CTF Illinois is also actively involved in our Quality Assurance and OIG tracking systems in order to track compliance and evaluate Organizational training needs. You will be an integral part of our organizational culture by with participation in our cultural committee and organizing focus groups with individuals served, staff, and management.

Qualifications
If you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational setting and at least 2 years in a supervisory role this position may be right for you. Some travel is required soa valid driver license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Additional experience and education preferred includes a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Business Administration, Training and Development, Management or a related field, or the combination of education and experience in the disability field. We prefer a candidate that who has experience with Paycom Learning, Microsoft Office, and Articulate 360. Must have outstanding organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills and is able to demonstrate considerable initiative, self-directedness, resourcefulness, and a firm commitment to CTF Illinois values.
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
