Responsibilities:
Act as Enterprise Test Plan CM Lead. Define the internal process for creating and coordinating changes to the Enterprise Test Plan. Establish procedures for controlling and documenting changes. Determine test plan structure, format and use of terminology - enforce consistency. Evaluate proposed changes and approve/disapprove. Enter changes into DOORS. Audit implementation of test plan changes. Compare actual with approved document changes. Track implementation of approved changes to closure. Coordinate changes with customer Configuration Management office to maintain control of the document. Track TBXs in the TBX tracking tool to ensure timely updates and closure. Provide status to leadership - publish reports.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- BS in Engineering, Physics or related Technical Degree.
- Requires B.S. with 10-12 years of experience, M.S. with 8 to 10 years and a PhD. with 5 to 7 years with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Incumbent will have a specialized knowledge in at least one specific area of professional endeavor.
- Current and Active TS/SCI with Poly U.S. Security Clearance.
- Configuration Management (CM) experience within overall customer domain.
- Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
- Detailed knowledge of GEOINT, SIGINT or COMM systems and overall space and ground architecture.
- Expertise in technical writing, editing and formatting of test plans, procedures and reports.
- Experience using standardized CM practices and procedures to control test planning documentation and requirement databases.
- Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with overall Intelligence Community Customer, technical familiarity with one or more GEOINT, SIGINT or COMM systems.
- Experience with CM from an acquisition office, operations or systems engineering perspective.
- Prior experience with our customer's CM organization, ERBs and other forums.
- Prior experience with our customer's CM processes (RFC, TBX, scheduling, etc).
- Experience using DOORS NG or similar requirements repositories to control baseline documentation.
