CTG is recruiting for an Engineering Document Control Analyst who has experience working with engineering information to join our Information Management and Document Control Services team in Anchorage, Alaska.

General Duties

• Provide Document Management System (DMS) user support

• Provide a search, retrieval, ordering and re-filing service for end users to access documents stored both physically and digitally

• Provide timely delivery of document control services

• Maintain document file systems, indexes & document registers for critical documents, both physical and digital

• Arrange scanning and copying of documents for input to the DMS

• Manage lifecycle of documentation and correspondence received and transmitted externally/internally and ensure they are registered, numbered (as applicable), distributed, controlled and filed

• Transmit documents to and from third parties, including partners, vendors, regulatory agencies and other external bodies

• Administer security permissions for document management systems

• Provide guidance to the correct assignment of document numbers and attributes

• Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained prior to publishing information

• Maintain revision history for controlled documents, formal registers and links in OMS Navig

• Responsible for data (attribute) integrity of DMS

Role Specific Duties:

Engineering Project Package processing, to include receipt and verification of package for processing, review, recording and distribution

Requirments:

Education

• High school diploma required

• Associates Degree preferred

• Bachelors Degree helpful

Experience

• 4 Years experience in project or information management preferred

• 4 years experience working with engineering documentation preferred

• Experience creating and running macros in Microsoft Excel

• Experience creating and maintaining Access Databases

• Visual Basic Programming experience preferred, but not required

Required Skills / Competencies

• High proficiency in computer use with Windows operating systems

• Ability to work within an electronic data management system

• Experience in auditing electronic documents to ensure they contain accurate revisions, states, dates, attributes and are numbered correctly

• Ability to identify different types of engineering information and have knowledge of their use

• Expert in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher)

• Expert in Adobe Acrobat Professional

• Experience with the viewing, printing and plotting of electronic file formats (DOC, XLS, DWG, DGN, PDF, TIF)

• Reliable performance and attendance
