CTG is assisting a client in New Brunswick, NJ for a Project Manager!
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Pay Rate: between $115,000-$140,000/yr (based on experience)
35hrs/week
Duration: 12 months
Role:
Our customer is in search of a Project Manager to assist with multiple ongoing IT initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and customers to create an aligned overall project plan and schedule for complex technical projects
- Manage and direct project activities needed to achieve project objectives with a strong understanding of resources, skills, and timing necessary to meet competing project schedules
- Inform and drive decision-making as needed to ensure scope, schedule, resource allocations and overall direction are in the best interest of both short- and long-term project objectives
- Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks, and ensure visibility to cross-functional leadership and customers
- Some travel will be required locally within the county
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Project Management experience
- PMP Certification is required
- Must be able to take lead on projects and handle complex scenarios/people
- Great communication skills
- Understanding of technology and operations with a focus on the operational aspects of managing project at scale
- Previous experience working for a government entity is a big plus
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group is required.
