Our client in Indianola, PA is looking for a Software Lab Technician for an ongoing contract.

Overview:
Primary responsibilities of a technician/engineer responsible for providing exceptional support to the V&V and/or project engineers with minimal guidance of senior technical support. To assist fellow colleagues in performing day to day tasks, satisfying our customer’s needs, and execution of product testing.
- Work under the supervision of a laboratory manager, engineers and/or senior level technicians to conduct testing, document results and perform various laboratory functions.
- Execute formal test protocols along with the ability to document detailed test results in support of advanced development, New Product Development, Quality, Life Cycle, and Product Supply functions.
- Problem Solving and troubleshooting of PC and Server devices.
- Assist design, verification, and validation engineering teams in testing devices to determine if requirements are being met.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Willing to Problem solve and investigate software issues within our Injector software builds.
- Understand and maintain a LAN Connection with several PC’s and Servers.
- Experience with Windows 7/10 Operating systems.
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Requirements/Preferences:
Education Minimum Requirement - Associate’s Degree or at least two years of trade/military school.
Skills & Competency Requirements:
- Ability to follow direction, follow written procedures, strong computer skills, work with minimal supervision, and ability to use basic hand tools.
- Possesses the analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems.
- Effective verbal and written communication along with good interpersonal skills, including ability to manage confidential information.
