Director of Finance, Global Laboratory Services

What You'll Do:

• Ensuring complete, accurate, and timely monthly financial statement close activities for the CTI Labs business unit by providing support and facilitating collaboration between CTI Labs and CTI accounting for the U.S. and European locations
• Reviewing and improving processes and data gathering and analysis driving CTI Labs financial reporting including revenue recognition, invoicing, expenses, inventory management, and reporting
• Provide financial support to all departments within CTI Labs globally to improve financial analysis and data to support decision making
• Lead the preparation and reporting of the CTI Labs budgeting process annually and as adjustments are needed
• Manage the monthly variance reporting and analysis process for CTI Labs to identify trends and issues, and work cross-functionally to address and course correct when necessary
• Review and approve purchase requests for CTI Labs
• Collaborate with Lab Operations teams to prepare detailed revenue projections to support near-term and long-term planning, discuss trends, issues, and upcoming needs and changes to support reporting and reforecasting
• Partner with Labs leadership to manage key financial aspects of lab operations with focus on continuous improvement in product costing and pricing
• Collaborate with Business Development Sales and Proposals teams for analysis on pricing, discounting, and proposal development
• Lead periodic inventory counts and tracking of inventory
• Establish and track metrics and develop operations leadership accountability
• Establish and track utilization measures to assist with resource planning
• Drive improved operating margins through detailed cost of test and test level profitability analyses
• Partner with Lab leadership to drive increased productivity and efficiency
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• At least 5 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business major
• Experience within the Central or Specialty Laboratory Services industry
• CPA or advanced degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred
