Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned specialty department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient care in the specialty department
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of staff in the specialty department
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Valid CA Registered Nurse License (RN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience Surgical Services
- CNOR Certification
- Current BLS certification
- 1 year leadership experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the assigned specialty
