Data Science Intern

THE OPPORTUNITY: Co-op Solutions provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Data Science Intern to assist with strategic projects as related to data science, reporting, and other related data initiatives. The Data Science Intern will closely partner with business and operation teams. WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO: Collaborate with operation and business units. Follow industry standards and advances on data driven technologies and tools. Create enterprise level end-to-end data flow diagrams and logical data models. Develop ML code using Python and learn data visualization using Tableau. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Knowledge of and interest in machine learning. Experience with Python. Tableau experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate the complex to simpler terms for business leaders and users of data to understand. Strong time management skills. Must be detail focused. The ability to work as part of a team demonstrated through involvement with student organizations, community involvement, work experience, or other activities. REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: 12 semester hours at a college or university or equivalent experience.
