CU Mortgage Direct is currently looking to fill an open Mortgage Loan Originator position.

The Mortgage Loan Originator’s primary duty will be developing business contacts and attracting residential loan customers for the origination of residential loans. This individual will be responsible for accurately completing residential loan applications and coordinating with other staff to close residential loans within the guidelines established by the company, private and public mortgage and other insurance entities, and regulatory bodies.

What we look for in a potential employee is someone that is organized, can multi-task, has a willingness to learn and, most importantly, can build relationships.

Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills, be detailed oriented, have strong closing skill, work well with others and be able to pass a background and credit check to the company’s satisfaction.

Company benefits include shared cost for health, dental and vision. The company also provides basic life insurance, short term disability and long-term disability at no cost to the employee. There is a 6% match on 401K contributions (traditional or Roth) and profit sharing with a vesting schedule.
