Description:
Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT Director in our Cardiopulmonary Department.
- Under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer, leads and directs the Cardiopulmonary department.
- As such is responsible for providing the coordinating care of the patients who are receiving respiratory care, cardiac diagnostic procedures, vascular diagnostics, and neurodiagnostic procedures.
- Organizes, coordinates and evaluates the patient care and staff activities.
- Demonstrates knowledge of new trends and techniques in respiratory care and high level of competence in administering and supervising patient care in conformance with recognized respiratory care principles and state licensure guidelines.
- Must possess knowledge of respiratory therapeutics and the correlation to diagnostic assessment, must be proficient in the performance of all respiratory tasks and cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures.
- Must provide a copy of high school diploma or GED.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy required
- Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy
- 4 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy and 1 year management experience preferred
- RRT, NBRC, and Texas Medical Board required
- RCP Certification preferred
- Current BLS
