Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with the installation and configuration of cable systems, including internet, cable, telephone, alarm services and other related equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of cable systems to identify and resolve any technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to perform testing and quality checks on cable connections to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to industry safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are organized and stocked in the company-provided work truck.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Minimum age requirement: 23 or older.
- Successful completion of thorough background checks and drug screenings.
- Physical ability to lift to 80 lbs., comfortable utilizing a ladder to work at heights of up to 30 ft., and maneuver in tight spaces/attics.
- Basic understanding of cable systems and their components is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
