SUMMARY: Cuisine Solutions seeks a talented Graphic Designer with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to steer the brand's creative-from digital and print to packaging. The Graphic Designer's responsibilities include managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects and drafts, generating creative ideas, conceptualization, and implementation of design solutions from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller with a collaborative nature who can proactively manage projects, intake a need and develop a design solution, and ensure work is of high quality.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· BFA in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience

· Excellent organizational & communication skills.

· Strong organizational and project management skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· 3 years' professional design experience, in an in-house creative department, advertising agency, and/or design firm;

· Strong portfolio of design and branding work required;

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to face the daily challenges faced by a rapidly growing company;

· Ability to manage concurrent projects across multiple channels;

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite software;

· Experience with photography, videography and photo retouching a plus;

· Experience with packaging design a plus;

· Experience designing in a food manufacturing environment (working with QA requirements, for example) a plus;

· Experience with 3D design a plus;

· Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines;

· Demonstrated ability to work independently or on a team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Serve as lead designer, responsible for the design and production of print and digital marketing pieces and retail packaging, ensuring commitment to brand standards.

· Execute printing and finishing of marketing pieces, using third-party printers as well as in-house printing and cutting resources.

· Maintain the in-house printer, ensuring adequate stores of paper and other equipment; serve as POC for Canon service techs; organize internal trainings and create usage memos.

· Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, notably Sales and Sales Support, to fulfill creative needs, ideate content.

· Take ownership of and cultivate a rich and well-organized asset library.

· Organize and lead regular photoshoots, utilizing internal equipment as well as external photographers.

· Liaise between the internal business channels, marketing colleagues, and agency teams to ensure deadlines are met.

· Oversee design, branding and print production for CPG packaging, working hand-in-hand with Packaging Specialist.

· Develop presentations for high-level specialty meetings and presentations.

· Secure print estimates and quotes from outside vendors.

· Build clean, print-ready files and die lines; the ideal candidate is familiar with the print production process.

· Manage production of all print pieces, from conception to completion.

· Check hard-copy proofs for packaging layouts and verify color accuracy; conduct packaging print press checks.
