Description
Polysomnographic Tech
Job Summary: Performs basic procedures on patients in the Sleep Disorders Center, to include preparing patients for tests and monitoring patients during the data collection and testing.
Qualifications
Education: Completion of one year of college level training in Sleep or EEG technology or two years education in related allied health field preferred.
Experience: Requires three to six months experience in this or similar job to become proficient in all job duties. Must frequently use judgment in performing tests, observing patients, and assisting in interpreting test results. Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other departments. Analytical skills necessary in testing patients.
