Culmen International is hiring a Financial Investigator in Washington, DC.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Analysis of operational and financial records to:
- identify hidden or obscured assets and deceptive or false statements
- Locate and repatriate assets that are subject to forfeiture.
- Identify the individuals and entities making deposits and all related bank accounts, properties, investments, and any other assets.
- Utilize data systems such as, but not limited to, Choice Point, Autotrack, TECS, FINCEN, CLEAR, THREADS, Accurint, ISYS, Lexis-Nexis, PACER, CourtLink, West Law, NADA, Used Price.com, and other Internet capabilities such as social media and Cyber research tools.
- Conduct detailed examinations of information generated during complex criminal/civil investigations as well as other sources for financial analyses of assets of targeted organizations/individuals.
- Conduct detailed link analyses with advanced technology systems and methodologies, specific to Forfeiture, utilizing the results of financial analysis and other investigative analysis.
- Identify assets in various forms of crypto currencies (e.g., Bitcoin).
- Prepare documentation as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Secret or higher clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of related experience
- Specialized expertise in Asset Forfeiture, Fraud, and/or Money Laundering
- Superior communication and organizational skills
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- OCONUS Operational Deployment
- 15 or more years' related work experience
- Master's degree
- Foreign language skills
