Culmen is seeking to hire a Russian-Ukrainian Language Instructor to provide language trainings (level 2-4) at the Partner Language Training Center Europe (PLTCE) in Garmisch, Germany for the US personnel, NATO Allies, and worldwide partners.
- Assign homework on a daily basis that is tailored to the needs of each student
- Provide feedback on completed homework assignments, identifying problem areas and conduct immediate remediation
- Counsel students on academic progress
- Provide suitable out-of-class activities for classes
- Prepare all teaching materials prior to the beginning of class
- Work as a team member to develop instructional material, coordinate instructional activities, and assignment of student sections with other instructors
- Educational background in foreign-language pedagogy to provide advanced language training to adult learners
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of recent, and relevant experience in teaching Russian-Ukrainian to foreign, adult learners
- 5 years of work experience in one or more countries in which Russian-Ukrainian is spoken as a first language.
- US citizen
- Willingness to travel to Germany
- MA or PhD
