Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of recreational and educational programming.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS: Current CPR/AED certification or attainment of this certification within 90 days
EXPERIENCE: PREFERRED: One year in a related setting
COVID-19 VACCINE: Required. Religious or medical exemptions considered.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to carry out instructions
• Ability to facilitate group activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Google suite
JOB FUNCTIONS: • Assists in the implementation of age appropriate curriculum/activities designed to improve the social, emotional and/or physical health of the target audience. • Maintain a positive, fun and engaging environment • Be actively engaged with program participants • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of classes, activities, and special events occurring at the center. • Respond to member and guest questions. Provide necessary follow-up. • Provide exceptional service helping to build long-term relationships with members and guests • Maintain cleanliness of the fitness and program areas.
