Job Posting for Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst at Cultivate Administrative Services
The Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)is responsible for managing a team of BT/RBTs in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for a caseload of patients. The BCaBA works closely with the Operations and Clinical Teams to ensure quality of care, authorization, supervision, and implementation of treatment plans are provided for the effective treatment of patients. The BCaBA models culture throughout their daily interactions with every individual in the clinic, home, and community settings. The BCaBA oversees and provides training to the clinical team that directly impacts each patient on his or her caseload in all environments where treatment occurs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct patient intake assessments inclusive of FBA and curricular assessments and assist in the on-boarding of new patients
Develop the initial treatment plan and make regular program modifications
Write treatment protocols and behavior support plans
Communicate regularly with parents to facilitate the clinical objectives of the patient’s treatment plan
Meet regularly with the Clinic Manager to review treatment plans, discuss case conceptualization, and problem solve any barriers to patient progress
Oversee a team of RBTs including regular supervision of treatment, ongoing training, support and mentorship, and conducting performance evaluations (informal and formal)
Conduct regular parent training to ensure treatment fidelity across caregivers and promote generalization of skills across environments
Develop managerial and leadership skills on an ongoing basis
Support quality assurance measures by collecting IOA, treatment fidelity data, and reviewing RBT clinical notes
Coordinate with the Training Coordinator to identify and plan for RBTs requiring additional training outside of regularly scheduled supervision
Provide supervision and oversight to apprentices/individuals pursuing certification
Participate in the development and dissemination of educational and ongoing development initiatives
Maintain BCaBA certification by renewing certification as mandated by BACB/state regulatory body
Demonstrate a high level of engagement in company culture (i.e., a “culture champion”), including but not limited to robust understanding of Cultivate’s Mission and Culture
Attend meetings and trainings as required
Participate in companywide projects or initiatives
Maintain applied skills to be able to model for supervisee’s, as necessary
Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies
Must be ready and available to work during regular business hours
Adhere to Cultivate policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience in functional discipline preferred
Minimum of one (1) year experience within ABA
Bachelors in ABA
At least two (2) years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Ability to pass background clearance and reference checks
BCaBA certification and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Familiarity with the field of early intervention preferred
Passionate about behavioral science and disseminating best practices and current research within the field of ABA
Desire to work with children
Fluent in program development to meet treatment goals, assessment implementation and report development
Demonstrate continuous professional growth with a strong desire to continue learning
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize appropriately to deliver timely results and consistently meet deadlines
Ability to empathize and communicate with guardians professionally, with confidence, in parent communication and training to achieve goals
Communication skills, both oral and written, that are clear, concise, exhibit leadership, professionalism, empathy, and inspire confidence
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required to accommodate patient and staff needs
Ability to work and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders from wide ranging backgrounds
Highly motivated and energetic during work hours
Experience and competency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook eMail and Calendar
Experience with ABA data collection software is preferred
Ability to successfully complete and pass Background and Reference Checks and Drug Screen
Physical Conditions:
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time standing as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
Endurance to move rapidly from a seated position to a standing position to accommodate treatment plan and/ or for the safety of the patient
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate office equipment, etc.
Clerical and administrative work requires adequate vision and hearing abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both audibly and visually using a variety of communication platforms and electronic devices.
