Finance & Grants Compliance Manager
Purpose:
The Finance & Grants Compliance Manager is responsible for financing activity related to business lending, grant writing, administration and compliance, audit and Special Program or Project support. This position supports the Director of Economic Development with loan and public funding grant processes for all CAEDC or REC owned properties. This position supports CAEDC’s Finance Committee, the Real Estate Collaborative (REC), the CCIDA Board of Directors, and the Cumberland-York Area Local Defense Group (CYALDG).

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university in Business or related field and two years of experience in a lending, project management or grant administration role.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
High Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certifications or Licenses:

Ability to assess and interpret financial information for loan underwriting activities.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet needs of varying internal and external customers.
Proficiency with all MS Office applications and familiarity with customer relationship management systems.

High level of attention to detail accuracy and follow through.
Physical Environment:
Working conditions are typical of an office environment. Work requires the ability to sit and stand throughout an extended workday (8-10 hours); position requires use of fingers, hands and arms on a consistent basis for keyboarding and phone work; position requires the ability to talk and hear; position may need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion; excellent vision skills (with or without correction) are required.
