In this role, you will be a member of our industry-leading planning and scheduling team that avoids costly surprises through the application of proven scheduling and project controls practices. Our comprehensive schedules ensure that projects are optimally planned, organized, and resourced. Versed in the means and methods of construction, and supported by state-of-the-art software and technology, our team produces projects that are free of surprises.
We are currently looking for a Program Scheduler to join our team in the Bay Area. In this role, you will be working on a variety of data center projects at the program level supporting an owner-side schedule operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role with growth potential as we continue to grow our scheduling team!
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of program and project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies.
- Establish and maintain a master control schedule of all projects in planning, design, construction, and close-out.
- Provide consulting services on an as-needed basis to share concerns and best practices where applicable to assist clients.
- Maintain P6 project management software resource library for labor, equipment, material, and capacity.
- Develop standard project templates if required.
- Assist the project team in identifying and mitigating risks during all phases of the project and program.
- Develop scalable schedule trainings.
- Support in the development and implementation of scheduling standards, including a standard work breakdown structure.
- Establish, document, maintain program schedule standards, processes, and configurations.
- Support P6 data setup, data population, and system integration.
- Identify schedule-related problems which arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions.
- Analyze and publish progress and performance reports by leveraging data analysis and data engineering skillsets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or other related field.
- Ten (10) years' of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
- Scheduling experience on data center projects is preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Excellent grasp of theories, principles, and practices related to cost engineering, planning and scheduling.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for using data to improve business processes and seeking solutions to challenging problems.
- Ability to handle large, partitioned data sets and build relational databases. Proficiency with SQL and Tableau are preferred.
- Experience communicating with, training, and presenting to stakeholders at varying seniority levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to manage and lead a group of people to accomplish a defined outcome over a period of time.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
