A vinyl applicator applies vinyl designs to surfaces by moisture process. This is an entry-level position where you can grow your skills in manufacturing. We are looking for someone willing to learn and pay attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload vinyl from the oven.
- Cleans surface to be covered.
- Sprays vinyl with water to moisten.
- Positions vinyl on the surface visually or using a template and smoothes out air bubbles with a roller or edge board.
- Slides backing paper from vinyl and wipes off excess adhesive with a damp cloth.
- Cuts out decals from the sheet with the blade. Varnishes over design.
- Calculate basic units of measurement using a tap measurer.
- Ability to draw and interpret bar Graphs.
- Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to work in a personal or group setting
- Lift at least 50lbs
- Stand or walk for long periods
