Description
We are looking for a talented Parts Professional to join our team specializing in Parts for our Distribution Unit in Richmond, Virginia.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch parts in the local branch, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Communicate with internal and external customers by phone and in person at local branch.
- Complete training in line with business needs and comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extend such experience meets applicable regulations
- Forklift and/or other warehouse machinery operating experience preferred.
- Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
