We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team in Saginaw, MI specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business.

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally Valid Driving Permit (Preferred)
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
This is A Union Location.
This position will require a completed DMV driving report but no Driver Qualification file. CANDIDATE MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AND HAVE 2 YEARS DRIVING EXPERIENCE. This position will be part of the FTA pool.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools.
(Intermediate):
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision

- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience.
- This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
